Matt. 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given tome. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of theSon and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I amwith you always, to the very end of the age.”Rom. 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised himfrom the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is withyour mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.Matt. 3:13-17 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deterhim, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it isproper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized,he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descendinglike a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him Iam well pleased.”Rom. 6:1-8 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! Weare those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who werebaptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptisminto death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too maylive a new life. 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united withhim in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled bysin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. 7 because anyone who has died hasbeen set free from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. Rom. 6:3-4 Ordon’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We weretherefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the deadthrough the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.Phil. 3:13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is aheadRom. 6:5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in aresurrection like his. Rom. 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.Col. 2:12-14 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faithin the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 When you were dead in your sins and in theuncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceledthe charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailingit to the cross.Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ.” Acts 2:41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number thatday. Acts 16:25-34 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God,and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that thefoundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains cameloose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to killhimself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are allhere!” 29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then broughtthem out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and youwill be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the othersin his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately heand all his household were baptized. 34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; hewas filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.Matt. 10:32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.”
