Burnt Hickory Weekday Education employs staff members in the following positions: lead teachers, assistant teachers, office personnel and substitutes. All positions are part-time. Applications can be obtained from the Weekday office, Monday-Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm or by emailing .

Current Employment Openings:  Substitutes

Each staff member is required to:

• have a completed application on file in the Weekday office
• complete a current background check
• be 18 years or older
• have a high school diploma or equivalent
• complete child protection training

In addition to the requirements listed above, all lead teachers and assistant teachers are required to:

• obtain 10+ hours of training each year
• obtain First Aid /CPR and AED certification every two years
